The Challenge: How do you utilize a maximalist design kit
in a way that still feels intentional?

Journeys hit the road for the 2026 spring and summer campaigns. Our art director’s seasonal design kit was evocative of scrapbooking – chock full of polaroid frames, stickers, silly doodles, and torn paper. The key to these assets was to use them tastefully and intentionally, creating a sort of organized chaos within the designs.

Photos were used as both primary and textural elements, and a mix of lifestyle and product imagery were combined to create that sort of junk journal feel. The classic Journeys green, along with white, film-grain backgrounds were heavily incorporated into each design, refreshing and brightening up our digital platforms and welcoming the warmer months.
